How to apply for GIMPA admissions-2026/2027 academic year.

To apply for admissions to the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) for the 2026/2027 academic year, you must complete the application electronically using the official GIMPA Apply Portal (apply.gimpa.edu.gh). The application process is entirely online, and the deadline for the main September 2026 intake is 16th August 2026.
Step 1: Purchase Your Application E-Voucher.
Before accessing the online form, you must purchase an application e-voucher to receive your unique login serial number and PIN.
You can purchase the application e-voucher via the following:
  • Via Mobile Money (USSD): Dial the code *924*200*16 on your phone, select “Application Form”, and complete the payment via your wallet.
  • Via Bank Branch: Visit any branch of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) nationwide and request a GIMPA application voucher.
Application Fee Structure:
  • Bachelor’s / Diploma / WASSCE LLB: GH¢ 200
  • Masters / Postgraduate Diploma: GH¢ 250
  • Post First Degree Law (LLB): GH¢ 350
  • Master of Laws (LLM): GH¢ GH¢360
  • Doctorate / PhD Programs: GH¢ 450
  • International Students: US$ 100 (Payable online with a VISA card)
Step 2: Prepare Your Digital Documents
You need to upload digital copies of specific credentials depending on your academic level. Ensure you have the following scanned:
  • Passport-sized picture: JPG format with a white background.
  • National Identification: Scanned copy of your Ghana Card (or a parent’s if you don’t have one).
  • WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants: Scanned copy of your original results slip.
  • Postgraduate/Diploma Applicants: Certified copies of your certificate(s) and official academic transcripts in PDF format.
  • Statement of Intent & CV: Required only for postgraduate applications.
Step 3: Fill Out the Online Application
  1. Navigate to the GIMPA Application Portal.
  2. Input the voucher code / serial number and PIN you obtained from the bank or USSD code.
  3. Fill out your biodata and educational background and select your preferred course and schedule (Regular, Evening, or Modular).
  4. Upload all the required documents and cross-check information; details cannot be changed after submission.
  5. Click Submit and print the confirmation page for your records.

Note: For applicants who have previously graduated from GIMPA from 2014 onwards, you can alternatively bypass standard vouchers by logging directly into the student portal using your original student ID and PIN.
