KNUST Activates Online Course Registration for All Students

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially activated the online course registration portal for both continuing students and first-year students. This development marks a critical step in academic preparations for the upcoming semester and requires prompt attention from all students.

With the portal now open, eligible students are expected to log into the university’s student management system and complete their course registration within the approved timeline. Course registration is a mandatory academic requirement and directly affects a student’s ability to attend lectures, participate in assessments, and sit for end-of-semester examinations.

However, the university has made it clear that students with outstanding fees will not be able to register. Any student who owes fees—whether academic, residential, or other approved charges—must fully settle their debts before access to the registration portal is granted. This policy applies equally to continuing students and newly admitted first-year students.

Students are therefore strongly advised to verify their fee status early and resolve any outstanding balances to avoid delays or academic complications. Failure to complete course registration due to unpaid fees can result in missed lectures, exclusion from continuous assessment, and potential deferment of the semester.

All KNUST students are encouraged to act promptly, follow official university guidelines, and avoid relying on unofficial information. For accurate updates and instructions, students should regularly check official KNUST communication channels.
