How to apply for KNUST admissions (2026/2027 academic year)

Applications for KNUST 2026/2027 undergraduate admissions are open, with  forms available via the KNUST admission portal.  Purchase an e-voucher from approved banks, post offices, or online (approx. GHS 290), then fill out the online form, selecting your preferred programs. WASSCE candidates awaiting results can apply. 
Steps to Apply
    1. Purchase E-Voucher: Obtain a KNUST admission form e-voucher from authorized banks (GCB, Ecobank, CBG) or via USSD.
    2. Access Portal: Go to the KNUST Admission Portal to initiate the application.
    3. Register Account: Register with a valid personal email address to receive your login credentials.
    4. Fill Form: Log in to fill out the form, selecting your preferred programmes  after checking minimum entry requirements.
    5. Submit Results: Applicants with results can submit them; those writing WASSCE in July/August 2026 can still apply.
    6. Submit and Print: Review all information, submit the form online, and print a copy for your records. 

Key 2026/2027 Requirements
    • WASSCE Holders: Minimum aggregate of 24, with A1-C6 in three core subjects (English, Maths, Integrated Science) and three electives.
    • Competitive Courses: Medicine and related fields require higher grades, often \(A1-B2\).
    • Final Grade Point: A final grade point of at least 3.0 is often required, or 3.25 for Medicine/Dentistry.
