The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has issued an important directive regarding accommodation fee payment for Superannuation Hall. This notice is specifically targeted at newly admitted students enrolled in selected professional programmes.
Who Is Affected?
This directive applies only to admitted students offering the following programmes:
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Medicine
- Diagnostic Imaging Technology
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Students in these programmes who see GHS 5,150 listed as their Superannuation Hall accommodation fee must strictly adhere to the outlined procedure before making any payment.
Mandatory Procedure Before Payment
Affected students are strongly advised not to make any accommodation payment yet. Instead, they must:
Personally visit Superannuation Hall
Obtain an official accommodation chit from the hall management
This chit serves as confirmation of space allocation and authorization to proceed with payment.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Any student who makes payment without first obtaining the official accommodation chit does so at their own risk. Payments made from this point onward without the chit will result in automatic loss of accommodation space, even if the full amount of GHS 5,150 is paid.
In other words, payment alone does not guarantee accommodation unless it is preceded by the hall’s official clearance.
Final Note to Students
Students are urged to follow this instruction carefully to avoid unnecessary financial loss and accommodation challenges. Compliance ensures fairness, proper allocation of rooms, and smooth administrative processing.
For clarity and safety, do not rush to pay—visit the hall management first.
