Emergency Nursing Clinches Trophy at KNUST Freshers Games 2026

The 2026 Freshers Games organized by the Nursing and Midwifery Students’ Association of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) delivered exactly what it promised—intensity, competition, and school spirit. Held on 31st January 2026 at Maa Joe and starting promptly at 8:00 a.m., the event brought together Nursing 1, Nursing 2, Nursing 3, Nursing 4, and Emergency Nursing in a well-structured series of fixtures.

The tournament opened with Nursing 2 facing Nursing 4, followed by Nursing 1 clashing with Nursing 3. As the games progressed, attention quickly shifted to the Emergency Nursing team, whose performances stood out for discipline, tactical awareness, and physical endurance. Their fixtures against Nursing 2 and Nursing 3 were decisive, demonstrating not just skill but superior teamwork and match control.

 

The final stages of the competition confirmed what spectators had already sensed: Emergency Nursing were the most consistent and prepared side in the tournament.
